The Junior Trojans hit a wall on home Sunday dropping one to Grand Ledge 30-0. 
Special teams had a difficult day but the kids didn't quit and we played to the end. That's what we ask of the kids. 
The Junior Trojans have one game left on 10/27 against Waverly.

The 4th/5th grade Junior Trojans got another road win today over Okemos in a thrilling 25-22 victory.
Marcus Denson got the scoring started with a very long touchdown run for an 8-0 lead. Following an Okemos score Andrew Lane added his own long touchdown run, refusing to be tackled for a 16-8 lead. 
Cade Moreno kicked the longest field goal in Junior Trojan history with a 27 yard field goal in the third quarter and a 19-8 lead. 
Sam Busch tacked on the final score and a quarterback keeper for a third long run and a 25-16 lead. Okemos scored late, but the Junior Trojans were up to the task. 
The Junior Trojans are now 3-1 on the season and host Grand Ledge next Sunday at 12 noon at Lynn C. Adams Stadium.

The Junior Trojans bounced back in grand fashion in the home opener today with a 24-0 victory over DeWitt.

The Junior Trojans gave a great effort at Grand Ledge Saturday before falling 22-16. Matt Fortino got the scoring started after scooping up a fumble and returning it for a touchdown. T'Senrie Gray also scored, but Grand Ledge made a few more plays. 

A week in the making the 4th/5th grade Junior Trojans played their first game at DeWitt and left with an 8-0 victory. QB Sam Busch converted a long keeper, followed by Cade Moreno's extra two points to account for the eight points.
The defense held stout with two goal line stands. To end the first half Andrew Lane picked off DeWitt's attempt to tie the game in the end zone. The Trojans also held strong for a goal line stand to end then game.
The boys played hard, and I look forward to growing this week in practice and playing next Saturday against Grand Ledge.

URGENT!!! Our game tomorrow at DeWitt Junior High at 10:45 has been postponed. We will make it up on 10/27. I will have revised schedules Tuesday at practice. 

Four weeks of practice is in the books and now it's time for our first game. We play Saturday at 10:45 at DeWitt Junior High. As indicated on the schedule please make sure the boys are there by 9:45 am. We need to be organized and warmed up to play. We will be wearing our White game jerseys and our blue game pants. 

Our first game is getting close. The boys have been preparing hard even with the challenge of starting school this week. We will wrap up tomorrow and be ready for Saturday. Please be sure the boys wear the white game jerseys with blue pants. Please make sure they have mouth guards and all their equipment with them. Game time is 10:45, but we'd like the players there by 9:45. This way we can warm up.

I hope everyone is having a great Labor Day weekend. Of course we have no practice today but it is game week starting tomorrow. Just a reminder with school starting we will practice Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday starting at 6 pm. Our goal is to finish by 7:30 so the players can get home and get prepared for the next day of school. See
