I thought I would Share a few photo's from last nights Game A Rama!

 Just thought I would say thanks to everyone for the great support during
the game a rama. I believe we all had a taste of what our league will be like.
All the kids played awesome and everybody got to participate.  The team was very
impressive on defense and offense. I really think the players have come a long
way already. I can't wait until the regular season, great job everybody
especially Parents and Coaches Wagner and Norwood also Tom Crawford for
scheduling this wonderful tounament. I believe we have now had 5 scrimmages and
we are close to being ready for the season. Great job and go

2011Grand Ledge Game- A - Rama Info

      SCHEDULE:
 We attempted to make it so you don’t play too many of one school
but with 10 teams from Grand Ledge you may play 3 or 4 GL teams – please know that we have done our best to spread teams out to avoid this. Keep in mind each team is different. They run different plays and have different skill levels. You will not play any teams from your own school.
FIELD LAYOUT:
 Half of the teams are stationary and half will rotate. Be sure
that you follow the arrows on the field layout map and your day should go smooth. 
We ask that you show up between 5:15 and 5:20 so that players will be able to find thier 1st
stations.
Be sure that your kids know what their coach’s last
name is: Coach Stine
PARKING:
Get here early this year…The parking map has several “P” symbols
to show where parking is located.
There is limited parking available at St Michael’s church and
near our main gate. There is also plenty of parking on the side streets around the field as well as over at the high school.
GENERAL RULES:
We have only a few general rules…all meant to help us all have a
fun, safe evening of football.
1) Blow the whistle EARLY…and let the kids know to STOP on the
whistle.
2) Blow the whistle on ALL fumbles – tell kids not to dive in to
get a fumble.
3) If you score move the ball back to the original starting
point on the field.
4) Keep spectators back 3 to 5 yards from the end/side lines–
many of them will have folding
chairs and kids could get injured if they run into them. Warn
parents to protect the kids by grabbing chairs, coolers, etc…Kids have been hurt in the past – let’s not let this happen again!
5) Each 30 minute session will be 12 minutes Offense – 1 minute
half – 12 minutes Defense and 5 minutes to move to the next field. You can decide between the
two head coaches which will be on offense or defense first. Worst case – flip a coin. We will
sound a horn blast for each time period.
6) Don’t huddle for extended periods of time. 
The offense sets the pace so if you huddle
for 2 or 3 minutes that hurts the defense because they will get less
playing time. Please be considerate.
7) In the unfortunate case of an injury – please get word to the
Press Box ASAP…
8) Make this an evening of fun for all…

 I thought I would share my 8th grade football picture with all of you. This is the first  year I played tackle.I played for Waverly Middle and then on to the High school.
