We need your volunteer help to ensure the proper funding for the East Lansing High School Football Program this fall, during these challenging financial times taking place in high school sports. This particular fundraising effort centers on raffle ticket sales, specifically called the East Lansing Trojan Football Fundraiser Raffle. The raffle (which is licensed through the State of Michigan Lottery Charitable Gaming Division) is our method of attempting to raise $15,000 in revenue for our annual operations budget for the EL Trojans Football Program. To make the ultimate goal of raising a net of $15,000 (gross $20,000), we need to sell 1000 tickets. This might appear to be an overly ambitious objective, but we are very confident that we can reach it. We just need everyone's help - standing by the creed "many hands make for small labor." Just consider the fact: we have approximately 100 families with sons in the EL Football Program. So just for starters, if each family just bought one $20 ticket, we would already be 10% on our way! If each family managed to sell nine other tickets (for a total of 10 tickets), we would make our ultimate goal.

Keep in mind that each ticket is "winnable" for all four drawings. AND....the ticket holder does not need to be present to win, although we are hoping this raffle will entice more fans to come out and watch the Trojans play at Lynn C. Adams Stadium.   

The drawing dates are as follows:

• Thursday, September 2 (Jackson)          $ 500
• Friday, September 17 (Everett)               $ 500
• Friday, October 1 (Grand Ledge)            $ 500
• Friday, October 22 (Owosso)                $3,500 (GRAND PRIZE)

Here are some key points to communicate with selling the tickets:

• 100% of revenue to the East Lansing Trojan Football Program
• Ticket holders need not be present to win
• Each ticket holder eligible to win any or all four games
• Winning tickets determined by the same 3 numbers drawn for the Michigan Daily 3 lottery (Evening drawing on game day)
• Winning number to be announced at half-time of the four home games (listed above)
