Our Philosophy
We are dedicated to providing youth from grades four to eight with a recreational and educational football program that enhances self-esteem and develops a positive work ethic that benefits them in school, at home and in playing team sports. The program strives to provide the building blocks that will help these student athletes grow into well-adjusted successful individuals.
The East Lansing Junior Trojan Football Program stands by the creed: "Play to Develop" as opposed to "Play to Win."
Program Specifics
The 2011 registration participation fee is $150.00.
This fee covers the cost of all practice/game equipment and uniforms. Players are responsible for cleats, athletic support, mouth guard(s) and practice jersey (big enough to fit over shoulder pads). This equipment is available at Meijer, Dunhams, Dick's Sporting Goods and Johnny Mac's. NOTE: The 8th Grade Team provides practice jersey to their players.

Scholarships are available to those who qualify for the school lunch program. Please submit the appropriate form (click here for more information) verifying your participation in the school lunch program with your football registration forms. Availability of funds will be determined by how many applications are received. All scholarship participants will be required to pay $25.00.
